The Robert restaurant opens at the top of the Museum of Arts and design in New York with a wide view of Columbus Circle, Central Park, Broadway and Central Park West, hidden for decades since the closure of the Huntington Hartford Museum. The style of the new restaurant is celebration, sexy and romantic, designed to allow a conversation, customers can dine sitting on the sofas in the central hall, or sitting in the windows to enjoy the views. The lighting has been designed by the prestigious architect of San Francisco Johanna Grawunder and upholstered pieces were designed by the modernist master Vladimir Kagan.
